Instead of trying
to occupy my time
I’m trying to let
time occupy me.
Like the master painter
who tries not to paint
what he looks at,
he tries to paint
what’s beholding him.
Or the horse and rider
that make the jump
to equestrian
upon losing
their sense
of separation,
when together.
